ALMOND OAT AND CHIA DOG COOKIES
A super delicious and healthy treat just for your furry four-legged best friend! With no added nasties but still super tasty your dog will be jumping through hoops to get one of these (mine did!). And you can even eat them yourself (just make sure you share them with your pooch!).
What you need:
1 banana (peeled & mashed)
2/3 cup oats
1 cup oat flour (or spelt/rice, etc)
3 tablespoons almond butter with chia
1 egg (whisked)
1/4 cup parsley (finely chopped)
Pre-heat oven to 150ºC. Combine mashed banana, oats, flour, parsley, almond butter and egg. Mix thoroughly into a dough like consistency.
Line a baking tray with baking paper and roll mixture into approx small balls. Using the back of a spoon press each ball into a cookie shape. Bake for approx 40 to 45 minutes or until golden brown. Allow to cool on a cooling tray.
Makes approx 24 small cookies.
Best stored in air-tight container in the fridge can be frozen.
