COCONUT CASHEW HOT PROTEIN SMOOTHIE
A super healthy 'hot' smoothie to warm you up any time of the day. Perfect for a chilly morning or a cold wet afternoon pre-training snack.
Heat 150ml coconut milk in the Microwave or saucepan. In a blender add the oats, banana, cashews, half the coconut flakes, and 50ml cold coconut milk. Blend on high until the mixture is smooth and creamy. Add a little extra cold coconut milk or water if need. Add the mixture to the hot milk and stir until combined.
Pour into a large mug or cup and top with a little of the coconut flakes and any other topping of your choice.
To toast the coconut flakes place on a pan in a hot oven for approx 1 minute, but keep watch as they burn quickly!
