QUINOA CEREAL BOWL
Delicious and easy to make, this Quinoa bowl is a high in protein, fibre, and essential vitamins and minerals. Enjoy for breakfast or post workout snack.
Rinse quinoa with cold water. In a saucepan, add quinoa, water, vanilla, cinnamon, and nutmeg and bring to boil.
Add chopped apple/pear and reduce heat and simmer for approx 10 - 15 mins or until the liquid has been absorbed and quinoa cooked.
When done, remove from heat and fluff with a fork to separate.
Place in a bowl and add your favourite toppings like banana, berries, nuts or even a drizzle of maple syrup if you want a sweet treat.
